Books for Learning, Teaching, & Education

This spring I will starting my graduate work in Educational Policy Studies. Over the course of the program I'll be reading more than I have in the past four years since I started teaching. This will be a good thing! ;)

My hope is to keep track of the books I've read as a part of my degree program and write a brief review, my personal reactions, its influence on policy talk, its influence on practice, and lastly how it might mix & jive with what I'm learning in the program.

Not all the books were required reading that I will post here, but I'm hoping to push myself in grasping a strong understanding of the issues impacting education for our young people today.
